Green Thumb Award

During our Plant unit the students competed for the green thumb award in teams. They recieved points for good behavior, inquiring questions, and teamwork. They also received points for returning their family fun homework. The winning team was the Snake Planters. Each team worked hard and I am very proud of them.

Safety Tips

State Trooper Thomas Clifton visited our classroom and taught the students safety tips to remember. Each student also recieved an identification packet.

Ice Storm

This week is going to be a tranistion back from the ice storm. I know lots of you still do not have power. However, we are going to continue this week as normal as possible and try to get back into our regular routines. I will send the reading bags home as usual and have our usual Friday assessments unless I let you know otherwise.
